Our class all participated in Stage One of the St.John Ambulance course in First Aid. Here we are learning the "Recovery Position":
  
On 30th September, in conjunction with "British Food Fortnight", our class prepared lunch for the rest of the school. We ate jacket potatoes
with a choice of baked beans, cheese, tuna and sweetcorn or cheese and beans. This was followed by apple or woodland berry pie and cream.
  
All staff helped prepare, serve and wash up!
  
We dressed up as a characters from books for World Book Week - even the staff took part!
  
  
 
During the Autumn term we are studying "Rivers". This is us using sandtrays to show how water flows:
  
As part of our project on Rivers, we visited the River Nene at Becketts Park for a lesson on a narrow boat:
  
We enjoyed a very "smelly" trip to the Anglian Water Sewage Plant at Corby to learn about how water is treated:

We all enjoyed a very interesting trip to Newton Field Centre, where we:
- measured the bend in a river,
- measured the speed of the river,
- measured the depth of a river bed and
- discovered all sorts of interesting creatures living in the river.
  
  
Our Junior Road Safety Officers - Natasha and Ewan - were presented with Hi-Viz jackets for all the school to wear when out-and-about.

In class we made pointsetta Christmas cards and had to follow our own instructions (with no help!)
and "God's Eyes" made out of wool:
 
 
During the two weeks of term, we all:
- took part in our Christmas play - three performances,
- enjoyed a trip to see "The Wizard of Oz" at the Royal Theatre in Northampton, followed by lunch at the Park Inn hotel!
- had a proper Christmas dinner prepared for us by parents and staff, in the village hall and
- all received a present from Father Christmas:
